Engadine Family Home

The design prioritises the practical rhythms of family life — a fluid connection between kitchen, dining, and living areas, a clear line of sight to the rear yard, and quiet bedroom wings separated from the active zones of the home.

Brick, timber lining boards, and natural render give the home warmth and tactile weight. Deep eaves protect the northern glazing, limiting solar gain in summer while admitting low winter light across the living spaces.

The project was approved via CDC, which allowed construction to commence quickly. Full documentation and consultant coordination were delivered end-to-end, with the builder requiring minimal clarifications at tender.
