KEIRAVILLE

Designed for a growing family, this luxurious coastal home has been meticulously planned with our clients’ specific needs in mind. Embracing the principle of “less with more light” the design aims to achieve efficiency without compromising on comfort and style.

A central courtyard and strategically positioned voids allow natural light to permeate the main living areas, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. The design paid careful attention to material selection, opting for a palette that combines the natural beauty of limestone for the podium, while the upper levels boast a sleek finish with painted white horizontal cladding.

One striking feature of the design is its twin gable facade, a visual element derived from the client’s aesthetic brief. This architectural choice not only establishes a strong connection with the neighboring bungalows and cottages but also adds a touch of charm and character. Through precise planning, the building takes shape, revealing crafted pavilion-like forms that exude elegance and sophistication.

The design concept successfully executes the idea of a contemporary two-story coastal cottage, featuring sloped roofs that seamlessly integrate with the surrounding environment. To soften the overall aesthetic, the home has been adorned with spilling foliage of Rosmarinus officinalis ‘Prostratus’ and succulents, adding a touch of greenery and enhancing the coastal ambiance.

As a centerpiece of the design, the home also boasts a sunken lounge area complete with a fireplace, providing a cozy and intimate space where the family can gather and create lasting memories.

The outcome is an affordable yet luxurious coastal dwelling that caters to our clients’ needs for many years to come. By thoughtfully blending functionality, style, and meticulous design, this home epitomizes the ideal coastal home, ensuring a harmonious living experience for the entire family.
